The advantage of DVI is that it eliminates the problem of image distortion due to signal conversion found in analog video - resulting in a clearer, sharper image.     Another new feature in the CS62DU, is the implementation of a remote selection switch - so that you can control port switching from the desktop while the switch, itself, can be placed in a convenient, out of the way, location..
